To find a professional partner that will allow me to utilize my varied skills and knowledge to increase their efficiencies and results in the realm of Rehab and Construction loans and processes that also provides a challenging environment to grow and succeed.
Renovation and Construction
I've been focused on Rehab and other Construction lending and products for the last 15yrs of my career. I created, developed and managed a suite of Conforming and In-house products and processes for the Construction Dept. for Fidelity Bank. This included on-boarding and vetting new Contractors and Borrowers, managing Draw Funding, dealing with challenged scenarios, training all Loan Officers and presenting CE courses on Rehab products and marketing approaches for Realtors in over 8 States. I also am a Renovator myself, currently living in a home that utilized the FMNA HomeStyle loan and process.
Growth
Starting in 1996 lending with a regional Wholesale lender in the B/C market, to creating and marketing a Fix & Flip portfolio loan product and process for two different regional banks, only to parlay that into a full Construction Dept after the 2008 crash, I've been deeply engaged in all levels of Rehab and Construction lending and Management. My understanding of many different markets across the country and the various pieces of the machinery required for such products has provided me with a wonderful journey that has brought me not only success and opportunities, but professional and personal fulfilment as well.
Future
As a result of a merger and a generally challenged financial market, I've been forced to find a new Employer in the next few months with changes beyond my or anyone's control. However, I'm embracing this as an opportunity to pivot to something even better and continue my growth and journey in the Rehab and Construction lending space. I'm certain that I'll find the right individual, group or company that aligns with my strong values, work ethic and goals for both them and me!
